Saving our Indian River Lagoon - The Indian River Toxins

It is a sad time on the Treasure Coast for all residents and animals in our Indian River Lagoon. Tuesday the reports were released explaining that there are indeed algae found in the water that are releasing deadly toxins. These toxins are "mostly likely" responsible for the deaths of the manatees, fish, and dolphins.

In the past year there are a reports stating 100 manatees, 51 dolphins, and 300 pelicans were found dead in the lagoon area due to toxins in the water.

It is time to bring the awareness of this mess to all the residents. We need to all pitch in and make each vote and voice count on this matter of saving our lagoon, health, and our sea life.
